tangible magic

Louis had dreamed of building his own custom cycle. He wanted to chase every detail—down to carefully selecting the types of welds he’d use. He watched countless online videos, took a pipe bending class at the local community college, and searched many crevasses of the web to find a specific type of wheelhub. After a two-year process, he completed the project.

The end result didn’t quite match up with the picture in his mind. There were details that wouldn’t hold up against the pro shops—but that’s not what mattered. It was absolutely real, and his own. There was tangible magic in the completed work. Despite its flaws, it was perfect.
