customs

We had been planning a trip to Sicily for months.

Today, we had a chance to spend a few hours exploring the small Island of Ortigia. It’s compact and easily walkable. We watched the sunset from a vantage point perched in front of the Duomo, the piazza’s centerpiece. In the foreground, a third generation vineyard owner indulged a small audience with salient attributes of his family’s heirloom grape, Moscato Bianco

Then, our home wi-fi signal dropped, and the streaming video content disappeared. We turned off the television and decided to take another walk in our neighborhood. But hey, at least we didn’t have to go through customs.
