mythic rumble

Awakened during an afternoon nap, I felt a voluminous mythic rumble. Peering outside, rain began to spatter on the ground, and a sharp burst of bright light enveloped the sky.

Spells of rolling thunder followed.

The darkening sky, and consistent pitter patter of the rain enlivened my imagination. It was just what I needed.
