Maurice opened the book’s cover. There’s nothing quite like that smell of a new book; and this was his book—the one he authored. 

For three years, he’d toiled on this passion project—which focused on the fit, finish, and detailing of classic cars. He scanned his prose, rereading the first line of Chapter 1.

“Seasoned detailers know that, it always pays dividends to double chec.”

Maurice’s eyes bulged, as he tepidly scanned the 4,000 typo-laden, yet to be sold, copies before him.
