gift dragons

These dragons I have are a gift, 

the ones that leap from my chest, 

saying the words I’m afraid to speak, 

disclosing everything that’s left.

I don’t try hide them anymore

Like wolves we’ve tamed our pride

I understand now, they were always a gift
